Guided by his fantasy and inspiration, Benoît Jacques, amongst other wanderings, publishes since 1989, books that express in no clear order, the complex circumvolutions of his mind combined with his taste for paper, the smell of ink, drawing, writing and his liking for printing machines.
Mixing pathes voluntarely, running away from any labelling, he then distributes his productions like an hawker, fed by the human connections brought to him by this editorial adventure.

In 2012, he was awarded the Grand Prix Triennal de littérature de jeunesse de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles in Belgium.
